Genogenie ("Genogenie", "we", "us") provides an online tool for building genograms, available at genogenie.com. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit the site or use the tool, how we use it, and the choices you have. Genograms can include sensitive details about families and health, so we aim to keep what we collect to a minimum and to handle it with care.

Information you provide
When you build a genogram, you may enter information about yourself and other people, such as names, dates, relationships, and notes about health or family history. This is your content, and you decide what to include. If we offer accounts or paid plans, we also collect the details needed to set those up, such as an email address.

Please only include information you have a reasonable basis to record, and avoid adding sensitive details about others that are not necessary for your purpose.

We use privacy-friendly web analytics, DataFast and Ahrefs Web Analytics, to understand aggregate traffic to the site. They do not sell your data and we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking. How we store and protect data
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. When we share data

Children's privacy
Genogenie is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. A genogram you create may reference family members of any age; that information is treated as your content under this policy.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and significant changes will be made clear on the site.
