Why we built it
Genograms are one of the most useful tools in therapy, social work, nursing, and counseling, yet most people build them in generic diagram apps that were never made for the job. The symbols are wrong or missing, relationship lines are fiddly, and a simple three-generation map can take an evening.
We thought that was backwards. The hard part should be understanding the family, not wrestling with software. So we built a tool that knows what a genogram is: it speaks the standard symbol set, draws the relationship and emotional-bond lines for you, and turns a plain description of a family into a first draft you can refine.
